The Best Things Come to Those Who Wait...

It's a girl! Amelia Rose Dolan joined us on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 6:24 PM. She was 7 pounds, 15.8 ounces and 20 inches long. Originally we were scheduled for an induction on Thursday day, but Mom started having contractions on her own on Wednesday afternoon and after 26 hours Ameilia was delivered via c-section. It was a long labor for Mom and baby, but both are doing well now and recovering quickly. Amelia is eating up a storm and enjoying all of her visitors. We'll be leaving the hospital tomorrow and can't wait to show Ameilia her new home.
