In the Florida Keys...

Last week the Dolizzos went on a wonderful vacation to Hawk's Cay Resort in Duck Key, Florida. We had a fun filled week of swimming, playing in the sand, watching dolphins, and making new friends. Amelia is very excited to share lots of pictures from her trip with you this week.

Anxiously awaiting our flight from Philadelphia to Florida. Amelia loved flying. When we landed she yelled out, "WE MADE IT! WE MADE IT!" for the entire plane to hear resulting in lots of laughter and applause.

The bathing beauty modeling her new bathing suit from Aunt Kat.

Yippie! I love the beach!

What a happy girl!

The lagoon where we spent most of our days.

The view back toward the resort.

Mom and Amelia hanging out in the backyard.

Izzy the Iguana loved sunbathing in the tree in our backyard.

The view from our back porch.

The sunset from our back porch. "Bye, bye beach," Amelia said every night before bed.

Dancing around the fire pit in her favorite flamingo dress.

Sitting pretty in a tree after lunch, just like Izzy, and showing off her hearts bathing suit from Aunt Casey.

Playing in the sand.

The best $2 I ever spent was on that watering can.

Checking out the dolphin sanctuary with Dad in their shades.

Nemo the dolphin peaking up from the water.

The resort also had a kids pool complete with a pirate ship, cannons and a water slide!

Ready, aim, fire!

Man down, man down!

Down the slide with Dad.

We got home late Saturday night and Sunday afternoon Papa surprised Amelia with a visit. She was so excited to see him! It was a great way to end the weekend.
