Vacation Time in Charleston

Amelia spent a wonderful week on Isle of Palm, just outside Charleston, SC.  She had a great time at the beach, in the pool, making new friends, and dancing to music every night. 

 We're on VACATION!!!!!

 Amelia was so excited that her Aunt Kat and Uncle Mike made the trip down as well.

Amelia is an expert swimmer after a week in the pool.

We took walks on the beach at the end of each day to look for shells.

Every night after dinner we listened to music outside and walked down to the pond to check out the turtle and alligator.  Amelia loved going up and down the stairs like a big girl.

 One night the South Carolina Aquarium brought a snake and a baby alligator to the resort.  Amelia got to see and touch them both.  She was so excited!

 One of Amelia's favorite parts of vacation was taking "Princess Bubble Baths" in the big tub.

Amelia made lots of friends during our trip.  Here she is sitting on the airplane with Allie. They read books and played with Allie's iPad the whole flight down. 

At the pool she swam with Gabby everyday.

 

Her best friend of all was Gabriella.  They played on the beach each day and danced to the band every night.
