Once Upon a Time...

Once upon a time two little cousins took a surprise trip to Story Book Land and had a wonderful day together! Two weeks ago Amelia and her cousin Alana did just that. They had an amazing day going on the roller coaster, the tea cups, and their favorite ride - the Jack and Beanstalk Bounce.

Aunt Erin, Alana, Mom and Amelia all had a blast.

Continuing with our storybook theme, Amelia went to see a production of Cinderella at the Kimmel Center last Saturday. After the show she got to meet Cinderella and a few of the other performers.

We had to balance out all those fairy tales with some reality so we also took a trip to the Franklin Institute last weekend. Amelia got to see her favorite exhibit about cardiac surgery.  She also got to touch real hearts and brains from a human, a horse, and a cow.

Finally, in preparation for our vacation Amelia  and Mom both got a little spa treatment - manis and pedis.
